Some pictures from my Thanksgiving shoot

I had the best time on Thanksgiving! I was asked by my old Young Women's president to take pictures of her girls and thier families and a 4 generation shot as well as pictures of the cousins and the her with her granddaughters. It was such a great time. I feel like I learned alot from it. Here are some of the pictures. Thanks again to Eva and her family for taking time out of thier holiday to let me take their pictures.

A fun day with the Utah Peas

This morning a group of us meet that frequent a website called 2 peas in a bucket. The Utah peas try to get together once a month for the last year and practice our photography and learn from each other and just have fun. Today we met in Bountiful and did family pictures. Since its just me and my hubby I roped my sister into coming with her family. Here are some quick shots.

I had a great time this weekend with SC and her family. We went to the International Peace Garden in Salt Lake. Look at those beautiful eyes! There are more to come but I hope you like these! :D

I won! I won! I won! I can't believe I won!!!

I entered the Utah County fair last week. I was very nervous, I thought with 2 colleges in the county and so many talent photographers in the area that I would have a lot of compition but I wanted the feed back so I looked thru my pictures and made the hard choice of which 3 pictures to enter. My sweet husband lost sleep (he works 10 hour shifts at night) and drove the 45+ minutes to enter my picutres for me. I tried not to think about them all week while I edited pictures for the V family and from my family party. I was going to go to the fair on Friday night then I got a call from :D I was jumping up and down and taking out my camera phone so I could take a picture of it on display! Then we had to find the other pictures. I found Maddie's picture next..... could that be... oh yes it was ANOTHER blue ribbon... ok where's curly (the antalope?) Here he is... oh my gosh!!! anothe blue ribbon! I think my heart stopped. We had to run out of the building so we could call everyone to tell them the awesome news!
Now my pictures are proudly on display in all thier glory with the ribbons attached on my husbands cubicle walls. Next step the Utah State Fair in September! Keep your fingers crossed for me!~

One of those days!

So you probably didn't believe me when I said I was not good at blogging. LOL now I'm guessing you probably nodding your head and saying ok yeah I see it now. Today was one of those awful no good days and I am so glad to be done with it. I entered an art show and didnt place. darn it. Oh well the county fair is coming up next month but now comes the hard part what 3 pictures to enter. WHAT!!!! I can only enter 3 total but, but, but..... I can't choose this is tooo hard! UGH! *runs screaming from the room*
